MAF Finance Group is owned by Begbies Traynor Group and are a financial services company that arranges funding for businesses across the UK – whether that’s a tractor for a farmer or a crane for a construction company. We do it all.

Formed in 2010, we’ve continued to grow from 3 to 46 in 10 years and are looking to grow our marketing team even further.

the role

We’re looking to expand our marketing team with a Marketing Executive who will make a key contribution to the achievement of our long-term ambitions.

We want someone who has a fresh outlook to marketing, particularly online, and someone that can bring something new to the table.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced business where you can add significant value and really make a difference working with an amazing team of people who really push the boundaries to deliver an outstanding service to our customers.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Director of Marketing with marketing and branding activity for MAF Finance Group.

The core elements will be to coordinate all aspects of marketing in order to communicate marketing messages and campaigns that will drive enquiries, leads, income generation and profitability.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • PPC & GOOGLE ADS
    • Working with our Digital Marketing Executive, manage our PPC campaigns through Google AdWords/Microsoft Advertising and advise on best strategies to achieve target ROI.
  • SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION (SEO)
    • Working with the Head of Marketing to support search engine optimisation through keyword usage and analysing results to create ongoing content strategies.
    • Measuring ROI and analysing data in-depth to drive sales and evaluation of activity.
  • WEBSITE CONTENT
    • Assist with planning & creation of content and implement meaningful and relevant online content for any related websites.
    • Working on our WCMS to edit and enhance websites 
  • CMS MANAGEMENT
    • Assist and implement marketing strategies that utilise our CMS
    • Help with general administrative duties on CMS
    • Create workflows and routes to market using CMS as platform
  • SOCIAL MEDIA
    • Assist in managing all relevant social media accounts such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc
    • Lead on other digital activity and keep abreast of all relevant forums and PR opportunities. Support the Head of Marketing with market research monitoring and analysing market trends, studying competitor’s products and services to understand our customer habits.
  • MARKET RESEARCH & OTHER DIGITAL MEDIA
    • Lead on other digital activity and keep abreast of all relevant forums and PR opportunities. Support the Head of Marketing with market research monitoring and analysing market trends, studying competitor’s products and services to understand our customer habits.
