We usually take a share of the arrangement fees from the lender. However, under some circumstances, we do have to charge a direct fee of 0.5% to 1%, though we will negotiate a reduction in the lenders’ arrangement fee to accommodate this.

For unsecured lending, it can take up to two weeks. For secured deals, providing there are no issues, it can take up to four months.

We usually require:

– 3 years’ annual accounts
– Latest management information
– Details of the asset (via sales particulars or valuations)
– Details of the management team (via discussion or CVs).
– Depending on the nature of deal, we may also need projections and a business plan.
