We arrange funding for specialist aircraft camera

An aerospace business wanted to acquire three specialist aircraft cameras that were to be fitted to their existing aircraft.

The client needed to invest in high definition cameras to be fitted on to aircraft that were already on finance on a long term aircraft mortgage.

The funders that the business went to direct were reluctant to support the stand alone finance without taking a charge over the entire aircraft. 

After accepting that the assets would often be out of the country and would be on an aircraft that was funded by a different asset finance provider, we were able to demonstrate that the asset was free standing and easily removed.

The ability to remove the asset coupled with us demonstrating that the client had robust cash flows to service the debt meant that we convinced funders to support this transaction.

Three of these cameras have now been financed through Hire Purchase with two different funders and this has now led to us looking at financing one of their aircraft too.
