We arrange funding for the purchase of a Mercedes coach

A family bus & coach company desperately required another coach to deal with post-pandemic Britain.

After the incredibly tough period for bus & coach operators during the pandemic, one of our longstanding clients contacted us about adding to their fleet, the first sign of life within the bus & coach sector we had seen in a while.

With the sector mostly operating at a standstill for the majority of the pandemic, the customer was pleased to inform us that business was booming, and they needed to expand their fleet to be able to meet the high demand for their business and satisfy new contracts they had won since COVID-19 restrictions had eased.

The business was looking to purchase a new 2021 Mercedes Benz UNVI GT Touring Coach for a total of £150,000. Due to COVID-19, coaches had become a risky and unlikeable asset for funders, with questions around the sector’s ability to make payments with limited income available.

Having previously worked with the company, and keeping up constantly with funders’ credit appetites, we were able to have this agreed and paid over a 60-month term with a low 5% deposit and a 3-month VAT Deferral.

The company was busy enough that they came back to us for another coach for private hire shortly after this, and we were able to provide a facility for a 2014 Merc UNVI GT Touring Coach over a 48-month term, with a 5% deposit and a 3-month VAT Deferral.
