Woodchipper Finance

We can arrange farming finance and funding for woodchippers. Whether it’s a woodchipper, stump grinder or a loader, our team are here to help.

Finance Your Woodchipper

A shredder or woodchipper is an ideal way to dispose of branches and forestry and gives you the opportunity to turn wood into chippings that can be easily transported, composted or burned as fuel.

We can arrange funding for the purchase of new or used woodchippers, restructure existing finance agreements and provide you with flexible seasonal payments options.

Benefits of woodchipper finance

Some benefits of using woodchipper finance include:

Flexibility of payment terms: Woodchipper finance can provide flexible payment options and payment terms that cater to your business. You can choose from various repayment periods, allowing you to spread the cost of the woodchipper over time.

Access to a wide range of woodchippers: Financing a woodchipper allows you to access a wide range of woodchippers, including new and used.

Preservation of working capital: Woodchipper finance allows you to preserve your working capital, as you don’t need to make a large upfront payment. This frees up funds for other essential aspects of your business, such as expanding business operations, investing in new technologies, or hiring additional staff.

Different types of woodchippers

Towed wood chipper: Woodchippers are relatively heavy machines. If they are towable, they are easier to move. This type of machine can be towed on the farm and on the road and it’s equipped with a motor for shredding branches.

Wheeled wood chipper: This machine is equipped with small wheels and no traction motor. It can be moved manually or mounted on a vehicle to be moved from one location to another.

Self-propelled wood chipper: These are machines equipped with a traction motor (combustion or electric). They do not need an external device to move them. They can be equipped with either wheels or tracks known as caterpillar tracks.

Stationary wood chipper: This type of machine is generally intended for industrial use for wood processing.

How long does it take to secure woodchipper finance?

Woodchipper finance often varies and depends on the business and type of finance required. It might take a few weeks or may require several months of planning. Applicants for woodchipper finance should have all their accounts in order and available for inspection, just like with any other type of business funding. Bank statements, the last three to five years’ worth of certified accounts, business plans, and specifics on assets and liabilities can all be required.
