MAF Finance Group is owned by Begbies Traynor Group and are a financial services company that arranges funding for businesses across the UK – whether that’s a tractor for a farmer or a crane for a construction company. We do it all.

Formed in 2010, we’ve continued to grow from 3 to 46 in 10 years and are looking to grow our marketing team even further.

the role

You will be responsible for the creation, implementation and ongoing monitoring of all social platforms within the business.

This will include generating content ideas for different audiences on LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter & Facebook.

You will also be responsible for the implementation of our outreach marketing strategy.

The current marketing team is headed up by our Marketing Director, and you will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, while working with the Creative Marketing Executive.

Job description overview:

  • Produce high quality, engaging social media posts and campaigns that will resonate with our target audiences
  • Edit and proofread content and work alongside the content creation team to ensure consistent brand and campaign messaging
  • Optimise social media content
  • Implement clear content social media across multiple platforms and channels to support our overall global marketing strategy and drive engagement.
  • Reporting, auditing and monitoring all social media content and using the data to track, review and adapt to determine efficacy.
  • Monitor and develop reports on competitor and forum activity within social media spaces.
  • Work with influencers within the sector for our outreach strategy
  • Other marketing duties as required

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience with social media must be demonstrable – whether personal or professional
  • Comprehensive understanding and a real passion for social media – the features and opportunities presented by the major platforms
  • Digitally minded and driven
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Highly organised and ability to multi-task
  • Ambitious and driven, who understands the power of social media across multiple channels

Your professional skills

    • Marketing degree level or equivalent marketing qualification preferred but not essential
    • Experience of working across multiple social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook and TikTok
